Dr. Ilya Menshchikov is a Senior research associate and R&D project leader in the Dubinin Laboratory of sorption processes in the IPCE RAS. His research interest includes theoretical basics of adsorption in micropores, gas storage and separation systems for energy applications, adsorption-induced strain of porous solids and thermodynamics of adsorption in wide ranges of temperatures and pressures. He is currently focused on full-cycle studies of nanoporous materials of different nature for numerous applications from gram-scale synthesis to real applications, developing functional nanoporous materials with advanced properties. Besides, experience of Dr. Menshchikov includes successful implementation of several remarkable projects in the field of gas storage and transportation, ecology, nuclear power financed by the Governmental grants and Industrial enterprises. He is a member of the organizing committee of annual scientific conferences and seminars on adsorption problems, organized by the Russian academy of sciences, leading Universities and companies. Ilya is a coauthor of more than 80 scientific publications.
